Which One to Buy – 2021 Ford Bronco or Ranger Truck? They Start at the Same Price, But … (Video)

The all-new 2021 Ford Bronco is officially here! It’s only available in 4×4 configuration, and the two-door Base model starts at $29,995 (including destination charges). This is approximately the same as a Ford Ranger XL extended cab 4×4 truck, which starts at $30,410. Which one would you buy at this starting price?

This is not so simple. The new 2021 Bronco offers a lot more and can be configured to a price of around $65,000. The Ranger crew cab 4×4 tops out near $46,000. The new Bronco commands an approximately $20,000 premium on the top end. Here is what you get and don’t for that money.

2021 Ford Bronco
The new Bronco is built on a modified version of Ford’s global midsize truck architecture. The Ford Ranger pickup truck shares much of this architecture, although the Bronco uses the latest version. Both, the Bronco and Ranger have a solid rear axle and an independent front suspension. However, similarities quickly end. The Bronco uses coil spring suspension all the way around. The Ranger has coils in the front and leafs in the back.
