FORD BRONCO TEASED ONCE AGAIN, REVEALS ‘BUILT WILD’ TAGLINE

Ford Bronco

Ford is, yet again, teasing the upcoming Bronco before it’s revealed on July 13. Actually, they have teased the Bronco twice in the past two days on Ford’s Bronco specific Instagram page, along with a new “Built Wild” tagline to go with the sub-brand. Both images show a glimpse of the grille and headlights, and that’s great to see, but it comes just as Ford announced they would pull all advertising from Facebook over the next 30 days.

While Instagram is its own social media platform, the company is owned by Facebook. Ford announced on June 29 they would be pulling all advertisements from Facebook in response to the social media giant’s lack of control on hate speech and misinformation across their platform. They joined a wide variety of other major brands, such as Adidas, Microsoft, Volkswagen, Clorox and more in the Facebook ad boycott. And that’s what makes the Bronco teasers so interesting.

These teaser pictures were posted to the @fordbronco Instagram, which is run by Ford. It doesn’t appear Ford is paying to post these images as an ad (as all business accounts can do), but these teasers still attract awareness and build interest in a product, even if it’s not yet released. Sounds like an ad to us, but maybe Ford sees more of a difference in a regular post and an ad than we do. More than anything, it lets Ford get some good PR with supporting the boycott, but still post about upcoming products like the Bronco.

Nonetheless, the images of the grille and headlights prove the earlier leaks and subsequent renders of the Ford Bronco are accurate, and it’s a great look. As seen in another teaser on the Instagram, posted on the day Ford joined the ad boycott, Ford combined the old and new Bronco’s front end to show the similarities. Based on these teasers and what we already know, it looks like Ford will do a great job modernizing the iconic looks of the classic Bronco. Less than two weeks to go, folks!
