S&B Filters continues to raise the bar with the introduction of its newest cleaning kit the Precision II: Cleaning and Oil Kit. This cleaning kit provides enormous value with its over-sized design which allows up to three services of your filter! We re-engineered the oil applicator to provide you with an easier and more precise application process, and have also provided you with more cleaner and a finger friendly trigger for application purposes. Lastly the box that it comes in can be used as storage to keep your things neat and organized between cleanings. As if this wasn’t enough, S&B Filters wants to ensure that your cleaning process goes quickly and error free which is why we have included explicit cleaning instructions to guide you every step of the way. STEP 1

Remove and Clean

  • Clean the sealing area and filter housing with a clean soft rag.
  • Tap the filter on a hard surface to remove any debris.
  • Use S&B’s Filter Cleaner to clean the filter.
  • Gently rinse out the cleaner using low pressure water.
  • Let filter dry for at least 24 hours.

STEP 2

Fill and Apply

  • Fill applicator with exact amount of oil required for your filter.
  • Starting 1/2 way from base make 2-3 passes around the circumference of the filter in the same area.
  • Repeat this process evenly spacing out the passes.

STEP 3

Inspect and Install

  • Allow oil to bleed for 20-30 minutes.
  • Inspect the filter for any white areas.
  • With the remaining oil in the applicator apply a small amount of oil to those white areas.
  • DO NOT over oil your filter.
