The swap kit retains the OEM Ford 3ch pedal from the 2003–2010 Ford Super Duty. The Ford pedal is used to control the OEM Ford transmission ECU. It outputs the pedal signal (and includes the male connector) that is required by the 6.7-liter Cummins ECU and OE Cummins wire harness.
