The Stage 2 system bolts to the factory engine with no cutting or grinding and differs from the Stage 1 system in that it has a unique Roval 132mm billet throttle body as opposed to the stock 80mm throttle body. The stage 2 system generates up to 685* foot-pounds of torque and 775* horsepower to the flywheel!

Whipple engineers have developed a unique PCM calibration using special supercharger-based software (a Whipple exclusive) that reconfigures all necessary engine functions such as fuel, spark, knock detection, torque management, transmission control, and electronic throttle control based on years of OEM and racing experience. The vehicle’s PCM constantly monitors the engine’s torque output while also monitoring a variety of other parameters in order to keep the engine operating at peak performance. If a parameter falls short of specification, the PCM will reduce boost and torque output until the issue is resolved. No other calibration in the field employs this technology, giving the Whipple SC system unrivaled performance and dependability.

Today’s F150s are speed density-based, with a new advanced 10-speed transmission that is nearly impossible to calibrate with aftermarket tools. Whipple’s proprietary software includes a 3-bar map sensor to measure manifold pressure under boost as well as an air temperature sensor to properly vary spark advance at all rpm levels. The 10-speed transmission has been recalibrated to keep the engine in its peak torque range at nearly all RPM points, while also keeping the offroad, tow, eco, and sport modes available so that the user has access to all available options. There is no other aftermarket calibration that can adapt and learn as well as the Whipple calibration.
