The 3.5L EcoBoost is equipped with a 2.5bar (21.5psi) MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) Sensor which is perfectly fine if you don’t plan on upgrading the performance of your turbocharged application. But if you have a larger turbocharger, water-methanol or nitrous injection planned for the future you will need a 3BAR (28.8psi) MAP Sensor to accurately measure boost pressure for proper performance.
