S&B Sets the bar high with its new Intake for the 09-10 Ford F150 5.4L

Innovative Design.
The stock intake system incorporates the radiator overflow as part of the air box which presented a design challenge. S&B overcame this obstacle by incorporating a new overflow container into its intake design clearing the way for a massive air filter. S&B’s radiator overflow allows the fluid level to be easily monitored.

Larger Tube, Better Airflow.
Engineering designed an extension harness allowing the mass airflow sensor to mount closer to the throttle body resulting in a tube with more volume. With greater volume, the restriction was decreased resulting in better airflow.

Power You Can Feel.
S&B’s intake for the F150 generates a 56.7% improvement in airflow at 380 CFM versus the stock system. The result, better acceleration.

The Scoop.
Want even cooler air? S&B’s Ram Air Scoop mounts just below the bumper to provide the housing with cool, pressurized air. S&B tests to the SAE J2554 Water Spray Removal Test Standard to protect your engine from water. A Snow Plug is available to allow you to prepare for winter without having to remove the entire scoop.
